Due to the impact of sociatal relationship and unbanization, the system of Joint Family has disintegrated. The materialistic, work-oriented and even selfish lifestyles of the present generation Senior Care has become a serious challange. The Younger generation have not time for 'caring & sharing'. Seniors feel lonely, depressed and long for suitable living environment, where their basic needs are met. Even those who are financially secure and live in their own homes, find it difficult to manage their lives - physically, mentally and emotionally.
After all, what Silvers expect and need in their sunset years is a healthy and harmonious lives. They would love to interact with those who are in the same age group with similar emotional & physical problems.
SILVERS would like to interact, be heard, be visible
and need emotional bonding in their sunset
years. | | Towards this end, Wecare is focusing on:- |
- Service to
Seniors;
- Spreading information relating
to "Way to Wellness - Aging Gracefully";
- Meaningful
interaction with seniors about their emotional and physical challenges,
as a means to give them some moral support;
- Supporting
Seniors' Homes and providing information to Seniors about the
facilities available.
